A Summer Travel Wishlist

With a summer trip quickly approaching, I’ve had my eye on a few different things that I think would be perfect for globetrotting and that would fill some gaps in my wardrobe. I’m sure many of you are off on summer adventures as well, so I thought I’d share my wishlist with you today! My destination this summer is the United Kingdom, and I’ll be spending a month exploring Ireland and England which I’m incredibly excited about. A Visit to Charleston & Sullivan’s Island

Last week I went with my family up to Charleston South Carolina to see my aunt and uncle and watch my cousin graduate. It was such a fun trip, and definitely worth the 12-hour drive! I only had two days to explore downtown Charleston and Sullivan’s Island between different family events, but it was so lovely to wander around this historic area. If you know me, you know I love old houses, so Charleston was pretty much a dream.

My June Goals

Better late than never right? It may be the 11th, but I still wanted to get my goals for the month written down in blog post form, so here I am! I did fairly well with the goals I set for May, although there was definitely room for improvement. I’ve been finding an overarching theme in my goals lately- consistency. I’m not a naturally consistent person. I tend towards grandiose spurts of motivation followed by creative burnout and difficulty accomplishing tasks. Recently I heard a quote that resonated with me: “Don’t rely on motivation, rely on habit.” Habit building is something I want to focus on this month, and I’m finding that it is the most effective way for me to increase my productivity and positive self-development.
