My Favorite Vintage & Vintage-Inspired Handbags

When it comes to handbags, I have a weakness for vintage styling. Some of my favorite designs feature top handles and fun details, and I love collecting a mixture of vintage pieces and modern designs with a vintage flair. Handbags are a part of style that I ignored for a long time, but they really do add so much to an outfit! I like to have a mix of colors on hand to make sure my bag doesn’t clash with my outfit. These are three of my favorites!

Vintage: Etienne Aigner Nantucket Bag

My favorite vintage find of the year has without a doubt been my 1960s Etienne Aigner Nantucket Bag. It’s such a fun summer purse, and I always enjoy styling it. The Nantucket Bag was made for several years, and you can find similar styles on Etsy and eBay. This particular edition is a bit harder to find, and I got it for a more affordable price thanks to the interior needing a good cleaning. I love that it makes all of my summer looks feel even more warm weather appropriate!

Modern: Coach Frame Bag 23

If you follow me on YouTube or Instagram, you may have seen my newest addition to my handbag collection, the Coach Frame Bag 23. I purchased it in the recent sale, and am so pleased with it. The design is inspired by Bonnie Cashin’s 1960s designs, and the blossom color is so beautiful and unique. It’s a beautiful high-quality piece, and I know I’ll love it for years to com. This style is currently sold out, but Coach regularly releases similar styles.

Vintage: Coach Regina Bag

One of my older favorite bags in my collection is my vintage Coach Regina Bag in black. I purchased it from Dear Golden Vintage a few years ago, and have gotten so much use out of it. The design is so classic, and I love that it has a removable crossbody strap. It’s a functional piece, but still has a lot of vintage charm. The Regina Bag is readily available on Etsy and eBay, and it is usually available in several colors!
