I thought it would be fun to dedicate one day a week to sharing a look featuring items I made myself! The feeling of putting together an outfit from pieces you’ve DIYed is pretty darn satisfying, and this look, one of my current favorites, is made up of three things made by me! Thrift Store Style: Classics for Summer

Whenever I’m asked what the best place to start at is when it comes to thrifting, I’m always quick to respond with “thrift the classics.” You know, the great button down blouse, striped tee shirt, little black dress, etc. Timeless pieces are easy to come by at thrift and second hand stores in a variety of sizes, colors, and styles. And in the accessory department, I love to check out Etsy and eBay for vintage options. You would be surprised at the prices you can find on designer items from a few decades back, and the quality and timeless styles mean they will last you for years to come. Everything in this outfit is second hand, but I’ll link to some similar pieces at the end of the post, including some vintage Chanel shoes!
