Summer Accessories
Last year I started making little scrunchie hair accessories to sell in my Etsy shop, and they’ve become one of my favorites things to sew. They’re quick and easy projects as well as a great way to use up that surplus fabric you might have laying around if you’re anything like me! Today I’m sharing my tried-and-true method for making scrunchies with two different variations. Read on for a list of materials as well as the video tutorial!
what you’ll need:
-Fabric of your choice (you can make 10-12 scrunchies from one yard of material.)
-1/4″ wide braided elastic
-Sewing machine
-All-purpose thread
Let me know if you give this tutorial a try, and if you aren’t a diy-er, be sure to check out my Etsy shop for lot’s of scrunchie styles!
Just made a scarf style scrunchie in black and white striped cotton shirting. It’s so quick and fun!
Thanks for sharing 🙂
