And welcome to Bouquet! My name is Lauren, and I’m so excited to take you along on this new blogging journey. Here on the Bouquet blog, I look forward to sharing my love of style and creativity through a mix of my own everyday outfits and DIY tutorials for your own unique wardrobe additions. I love sewing, crafting, and thrifting the pieces that I wear everyday, and I can’t wait to share my tips on how you can do the same. I’ll also be sprinkling in some projects for your home, updates on my favorite non-toxic beauty products, and a bit of creative lifestyle. Whether you’ve come over from my old blog, or are brand-new to my content, I’m so happy you are here!
About me
I’m a 24-year-old maker living in beautiful Little Rock, Arkansas, and I have a passion for all things handmade, floral, and vintage-inspired. While my formal education was in the music field, creating has always been a large part of my life. My mom and grandmother taught me to sew at a young age, and those early lessons gave wings to my creativity. My hope is that the tutorials I share will do the same for you. I began my crafting making clothes and accessories for my dolls and Barbies, but once I was in high-school, I started to make clothes and accessories for myself. Making pieces for my own wardrobe allows me to express my style so tangibly, and that creative process is something I treasure. When I’m not sewing, thrifting, or blogging, I love a good audiobook with a cup of tea, a hike in some of the beautiful local nature, or an hour spent at the piano.
My favorite blogs and online content are the ones that inspire me with new ideas, and my hope is that Bouquet will become that for each of you. I truly can’t wait to share my projects with you!
